A Message from CJ Wilson: The Dam Jam Postponed to 2026 — Our Next Chapter Together

Dear Dam Jam Family,

Sometimes the hardest decisions are the ones made with love. As the President of The Dam Jam, I want to speak to you directly and share the full story of where we are, what we’ve overcome, and where we’re heading next.

From day one, The Dam Jam was never meant to be "just another music festival." Our dream has always been to create something more — a place where grown-ups could feel like kids again. A space filled with live music, camping, laughter, cold drinks, games, late nights under the stars, and friendships that last long after the music fades.

Our journey has taken us across Kansas — from El Dorado to Lake Afton, to Goddard, and finally to Winfield. Each move came with lessons, growth, and a deepening of our mission. Through it all, we've stayed independent, powered by a small but passionate team at A Production Company LLC. And with the support of our incredible community, The Dam Jam has grown into something truly special.

One of the most meaningful results of this journey has been the birth of Community Jam Force, a nonprofit that helps the homeless and less fortunate with clothing, food, hygiene items, and support across our region. The Dam Jam has always been about more than music — it's about giving back and making a difference.

But 2025 has presented enormous challenges. Rising costs, limited artist availability, and a shortened timeline made it clear that we wouldn’t be able to deliver the kind of festival experience that you deserve this year. After careful reflection and many tough conversations, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to postpone The Dam Jam to July 17–18, 2026.

Let me be very clear:This is not the end. This is a NEW chapter.

We see this as an opportunity to regroup, refocus, and return stronger than ever. When we come back in 2026, we’re bringing:
